Jenna has been working in the veterinary field for 12 years now. She started with Dr. Sachdev seven years ago at Kennedy Road Veterinary Clinic and New England Veterinary Center and Cancer Care. She is our office manager but still helps out in the rooms and reception. She is a bully breed lover and shares her home with three pitbull mixes,and her cat(who thinks he is a dog). In her free time she loves being with her daughter, friends and family.
Elisa Lowe, CVT joined RRVC November 2016. She has been in the veterinary field for over 16 years, and certified for 9 years. She graduated from Northwestern CT Community College in 2007 with her associates in Veterinary Technology, and passed the National exam for certification. She primarily has worked in general practice, but October 2012 took a position working in emergency medicine. She enjoyed working, and learned so much in emergency, but in October 2016 she decided it was time to go back to what she liked doing the most; General practice. She is married, and has 3 wonderful children. She has grown up with pets, and has loved animals her whole life. Currently she has a 6 year old Basset hound named Archie, a 2 year old Pit Bull named Punky, and 3 cats; Suzie 11yrs, Gary 8yrs , and Thomas 10 months.
Cindy started with Dr. Sachdev at Kennedy Road Veterinary Center as his assistant about 14 years ago. She joined him at New England Veterinary Center and gained experience as an icu technician. She moved to Willington and joined our team in July 2015. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors and fishing with her fiance Fred, her children Addie and Nick. Her house is full of fur babies as well including her boxer, three cats, and lizard.
Kaitlyn joined RRVC in August 2018 as a veterinary assistant. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in May 2018. In her free time, she volunteers at Compassion for Cats of New London County, a cat shelter she has been working with since 2013. She recently adopted 4 cats from this shelter - Rajah, Graham, Minnie and Charlie, adding on to her already established fur family of 2 guinea pigs, Rocky and Rolo. In her free time, she also enjoys being with her family (& cats), friends, doing make-up and crafting.
Amiah has been here at River Road since fall of 2017. She is a current student at the University of Connecticut. Amiah transferred to UConn after two years at Kansas State University. Amiah is originally from Overland Park, KS and moved to Connecticut to study Pathobiology at UConn. In May of 2019 she will graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Pathobiology and Veterinary Sciences and hopes to get into Vet School in the near future. When she is not studying or working, she is hanging out with friends, family, or her pets-a cat named Meeko and a dog named Brooklyn- or painting and reading.
